In a tiny, tiny village above Morency, Haiti, Hurricane Matthew took everything. Homes were reduced to rubble, clothes soaked, and precious Bibles (if they had them) completely destroyed. For many villagers, losing their Bible was like losing their lifeline.
But even in devastation, faith endures
Villagers gathered beneath tattered blue tarps, sitting on makeshift benches in the open air. They had lost nearly everything, but they came for the promise of spiritual nourishment.
Global Point Ministries purchased 2,000 new Bibles to give away, each representing hope, resilience, and renewal. When we handed out the last Bible, a young boy walked into the gathering—just in time. His eyes lit up, his smile radiant with gratitude and relief.
