One of our favorites is this one of a woman living in a leprosy colony in the suburbs of Jaipur. She was just one of the many we hand-delivered Bibles to because of those who gave to Global Point. ARKUN • That's how you say "Thank you" in Khmer, the local language in Cambodia. And if you’re heading to Cambodia, then picking up a few Khmer phrases is a good idea. While many Cambodians (especially younger ones) can speak pretty good English, knowing a few phrases in Khmer will warm the hearts of locals and bring about a few smiles. IN THE BEGINNING • Those are the first three words in the Bible, and God‘s word is so powerful. I snapped this photograph during one of our mission trips last year when this young lady received her Bible for the first time. Of course, you start from the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth. Our next mission trip to hand deliver another 1000 Bibles will be to Cuba on October 20, only 9 days from today. Thank you for your best gift to help penetrate the darkness of this world with the light of God’s Word. And remember, millions have never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ… so every Bible provided is invaluable.
